Faith - Administrative Director
Faith joined Champions in 2017 with over 15 years of cheer and tumbling experience and currently serves as the Crush Administrative Director. As a member of Desert Valley All-Stars in Palm Springs, California and the Lake Travis High School cheer team, Faith gained invaluable experience and knowledge that she continues to pass on to her students. With her strong emphasis on clean routines, Faith brings an encouraging and disciplined coaching style to our team. Her favorite part of coaching is watching her students go through progressions to master the skills they’ve been working so hard to gain. Additionally, Faith is her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Ariel, a Coppell, TX native, is a current University of Texas at Austin student and is working towards her degree in Early Childhood Education. She has many years of competitive cheer experience including: six years as a team member at Spirit of Texas, where she won NCA four times, earned a silver medal at Worlds twice, and won the gold medal at Worlds in 2016. Ariel was also a member of UT’s White Squad cheer team for the 2016-2017 season.
Lexi, a current student at the University of Texas at Austin, is pursuing a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with a minor in business. She has cheered since the age of 5 on both competitive teams, where she won four NCA titles, and her high school team, where she served as captain for two years. Lexi is entering her third year of coaching and her second year with the Crush Program. Fun fact – she has a prairie dog named Allen and an aussie/husky dog named Denver!
Michael joined Champions Westlake in September of 2019 and brings over six years of coaching experience with him. Prior to coaching, Michael danced competitively for two years, and then began touring with his college dance company for two years, earning a performance scholarship. His passion for dance is what led him to find a career in competitive cheerleading. At the age of 21, Michael moved to Asheville, North Carolina to pursue his coaching dreams and became one of the founding members of Fearless Athletics located in Arden, NC. Here he worked as a Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Choreographer, and Gym Manager during his five year tenure. Additionally, he worked with local middle school and high school cheer teams, providing stunt, jump, and choreography camps and clinics. During his time as a coach, he has won numerous National titles, as well as bids to The Summit, D2 Summit, and US Finals. Michael is excited to bring his passion for cheerleading to the Crush Cheer program!
Luis joined Champions Westlake in September of 2019 and brings over 12 years of cheer experience. Luis started his career as a competitor at Northwood High School and all star cheerleading team member in 2008, in Silver Spring, Maryland. Luis’s hard work and dedication paid off when he became a member of his high school dance company and an assistant coach for his all-star cheer gym. After graduating high school, he attended college in Maryland, where he studied dance and was a member of the Montgomery College Dance Company for two years. During this time he trained over 20 hours weekly in different styles of dance including: modern, jazz, ballet, and contemporary.
In 2014, at the age of 20, Luis moved to Asheville, North Carolina to pursue his dreams of becoming a choreographer. Luis was one of the founding members of Fearless Athletics located in Arden NC, where he worked as All-star Cheer director, head coach, in-house choreographer, and tumbling instructor for five years. Luis’s choreography has won several national and regional titles, as well as earned bids to the Summit, D2 Summit, and US finals. During his time in NC he also worked with local middle and high school school cheer squads providing stunt, jump, and choreography camps. Luis is excited to bring his passion for cheer and choreography to the Crush Cheer program!
